About EV Charge San Diego
We’re a family-owned and operated, C-10 licensed electrical contractor based in Carlsbad. As San Diego natives, we take pride in our work, our employees, and the community we serve. We started in 2019 with commercial electrical work and retrofits and have since expanded to include home EV charger installations throughout San Diego County. Every job is handled by our own in-house team—we never subcontract our work.

How we work
We check the panel before we quote
Every quote starts with a load calculation against your existing electrical service. It tells us whether there is room for a dedicated charger circuit, whether a load-management device can share capacity instead, or whether the service needs upgrading. You know which one applies before you commit.
One fixed price
The quote covers the charger circuit, materials, labor, the permit and the inspection visit. If something about the job changes the scope, we tell you before doing the work.
Permits and inspection are part of the job
A 240V charger circuit needs an electrical permit. We file it with the city or county that covers your address, book the inspection and meet the inspector.
Our own team, start to finish
The people who quote the job are the people who install it. Labor is covered by a two-year warranty.
Ready to charge at home?
Send a photo of your panel and where the car parks. We quote a fixed price and carry out the installation ourselves.
