Step by step in Vista
Ask what to submit
Vista's published EV handout covers commercial and multifamily chargers, which need stamped plans. For a house, ask at the Development Services counter, and bring the items most offices want in case they apply.
Apply at the counter
Bring the application to the Development Services counter on the first floor of the Vista Civic Center. Only qualifying SolarApp+ solar projects can be submitted online.
Install around the city calendar
City offices close on alternate Fridays, so check the closure calendar before you set an install date that depends on a quick inspection.
Request the inspection
Call the 24-hour inspection line at 760-639-6106 or use the online request form. Requests before 3:30 p.m. are considered for the next business day, subject to availability. City offices close on alternate Fridays.
Let us handle the permit
Our C-10 licensed, in-house team files the permit, books the inspection and meets the inspector, and the permit is part of the fixed price. Read about EV charger installation in Vista.
